What about my motor insurance?

Being convicted of drink driving can also have a negative impact on your motor insurance premium, irrespective of your driving history, age, vehicle, etc.

However, IAM RoadSmart can help and support you in finding the most appropriate insurance provider from a list of those recognising the DDRC as beneficial to your driving behaviour. Certain insurance providers don’t automatically penalise convicted drivers so contact us for further details.
